Good News!

After Dr. Haddix's inspection, it was decided that my girl has a very badly bruised leg, but it should heal. Thankfully no long bones seemed to be broken, though it's nearly impossible to tell with her foot because the bones there are so tiny. Regardless, they gave me some pain meds for her. It's sweet, so she sucked it out of the syringe greedily, and that was that. There shouldn't be any problem administering it since she seems to like it. Hopefully all goes well, and she can get back to her normal acrobatic-filled day!

All you animal lovers who read my blog, please keep Nugget in your thoughts today. I found out last night that she got her leg caught in her cage, and there's a good chance it may be broken. I'm taking her to a vet at 3, and hopefully they'll be able to do something. Her leg is too small to be wrapped, but they can give me pain meds. My dad and grandpa, who found her like that last night, said she seems to be getting around okay but isn't using the leg at all. 

I'm hopeful that they can do something and that I won't have to put her to sleep, but until we know that for sure, just be thinking about her today!
